Placement on the wait list for grades 1 – 12:
The submission of a completed application is time and date stamped when you have handed all required documents in person or up load the required documents and hit the submission button for an online application. Students are placed on the waiting list by grade and district of residence via the time and date stamp. School Lane Charter School will give you a call if and when an opening occurs in the grade level requested. If you do not hear from SLCS, your child has not been admitted. Enrollment openings occur when a student leaves SLCS for another school. Openings are filled through March 1 of the current school year. School Lane will notify via phone call if your child is accepted for enrollment. If you receive a phone call regarding your child’s acceptance at School Lane, you will have 24 hours to respond to the call/voicemail message that has been left. If we do not hear from you within the 24 hour time mentioned your child will lose their spot at School Lane. Students in ninth grade (9th) enrollment calls will begin in January prior to the enrollment year.
If your child has not received an acceptance call for enrollment before or during the school year you applied, you must re-apply each year for placement on School Lane Charter School’s waiting list.
Placement on the wait list for Kindergarten:
Student enrollment for kindergarten is by lottery. Students must be 5 years old by September 1 the year they are enrolling in kindergarten to be eligible for application and enrollment. You must submit an application prior to December 19, 2024 to be considered part of the lottery for the school year beginning the following August. After the Kindergarten lottery any additional new applicants will be placed at the bottom of the list by order of time and date of the submitted application.
Enrollment Acceptance K-12:
