Elementary Parents - a couple of important reminders:
- If your child is absent from school or being picked up early, you must send in a physical note OR email attendancek6@schoollane.org to notify us. Schoology or emails to the teacher are not always seen or make it to the main office.
- Children must be in full uniform during the school day. On cold days, they can wear a shirt under their SLCS polo shirt OR wear a SLCS fleece from Flynn & O'Hara. Children cannot wear hoodies or other jackets in class.
We are in need of a few more lunch aides! If you know of anyone interested, please have them apply here: https://slcs.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=315

Attention SLCS Families, registration for NEW students for the 2022-2023 school year opens tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. This includes siblings! To register, you should go to the School Lane website www.schoollane.org and click on "admissions." Grades 1-12 applications are timestamped and placed on the waitlist. Kindergarten is a lottery. All current students do not need to apply for next year at this time - a re-enrollment form will come out in the spring.
Reminder that today from 4pm-6pm is a vaccine clinic for those interested in it for their 5-11 year old. One of the gym doors in the back parking lot will be propped open for guardians and children to enter.
Reminder that we have the Elementary Campus Open House for prospective families on Saturday, January 15th at 9:00 a.m. If you know of someone interested in having their child attend next year, please have them register for the open house at https://forms.gle/e7wXSKHR7ed3TaGu7. The IB Campus Open House has been postponed until March 22nd.
The vaccine clinic has been rescheduled for Tuesday, January 18th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. A guardian must be present with the child. This clinic is completely voluntary and the school is in no way involved with tracking who comes and who does not or who is vaccinated. The clinic is a “walk-in” clinic, meaning that you will not get a set appointment time. This clinic is only for children ages 5-11.
Hey SLCS Families, we are hosting an Open House on Saturday, January 15th at 9 a.m. for any prospective families that are interested in attending SLCS Elementary next year. Please pass the information along. Families can register for the Open House at https://forms.gle/mtoRczd5tUpnY5NX9
